Objective: The purpose of this project was to show positive and negative space and to show the joy that the coffee from the coffee shop gives to their customers.

Preparation: I prepared this by looking up multiple things of examples on the internet of positive and negative space. Also, I did two pages in my sketch book of variations of the idea in font, style, boldness, and which things are positive and negative.

Materials: The art mediums that I used were first graphite and paper then I transferred it to the computer and digitized it using illustrator.

Process(es): The processes that I had to was I first started with sketches in which I then went to put them on the computer I vectorized it using the pen tool in illustrator.

About Me

I am a student at Central York High School and I am in the Advance 2d course that they have available. This is my third year in the class of Graphic Design.

Artist Statement

The purpose of this blog is for me to show the community of the web my process of what I am doing in this class and my work. I know that it will not be the best art it has seen but it will show the progress of moving forward in my neatness and outcome of my ideas from the beginning of this class to the end in which I expect it will turn to become even better. My style of design I feel is a lot more fun, playful, and cartoonish I think. Since I listen to electronic music a lot, I want to get the colors I hear into my pieces so the ideas that I come with at times may not be right there.
